Route 8 Bridge Replacement - Jobsite Tour

Come see the wonders of Civil Construction at the Route 8 Bridge Replacement in Akron, Ohio! This project is being built by The Ruhlin Company and The Great Lakes Construction Company also known as RGL. Something interesting about this project is that it's the first of its kind in Ohio because of the launching method used to erect the bridge!

If you are interested in attending this event there are a couple things you need to know!

1. Arrive at the CAED Building between 3:15-3:30, we are trying to carpool to limit the number of cars on site. Contact Grace Costin (gcostin@kent.edu) for a ride or more details.

2. Please wear proper attire. Jeans, boots, and PPE are the appropriate attire. (If you do not have PPE the CMSO will be able to provide some. Supply is limited.)
