The Construction Management Student Organization is committed to recognizing the growth of the female workforce in the construction industry. Since 2020, the CMSO has hosted WIC Week to support women in the industry in tandem with the National Association of Women in Construction. To learn more visit nawic.org.

Join Kent State University and the Construction Management Student Organization as we celebrate Women in Construction! Throughout the week the CMSO will be hosting a variety of events. Please see below and be sure to register for one or more!

WIC Week 2026
In 2026 the CMSO was able to include members from multiple industry-leading companies in our events and featured a diverse Q&A panel composed of Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers, and KSU Faculty!

2025 continued the success of WIC week with the CMSO hosting collaborative workshops and socials with female industry professionals.

2024 was a fantastic year! The CMSO provided students with different events to attend, like job site tours and opportunities to listen to women in the industry.
WIC Week 2023
2023 was our biggest year yet! The CMSO provided students with different events to attend with many great speakers. Students won prizes for actively participating and playing "BINGO" by attending three or more events.
WIC Week 2022
In 2022, the CMSO was able to host a variety of topics for discussion. Students also were provided with the opportunity to network with over 15 companies throughout this week of events.
WIC Week 2021
This virtual year did not stop the CMSO from hosting two virtual jobsite tours and a panel. Despite being online, these events were able to connect students to the female industry professionals.
WIC Week 2020
This was the first year the CMSO hosted a Women In Construction Week at the University. This first WIC Week consisted of a series of five events open to all to learn about the industry.
