Friday February 1st, the Kent State University's Construction Management Department hosted its Spring 2019 Career Fair.
Companies from the Genreal Contracting, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Residential, and the Equipment Sales industries were present. These 35+ companies came looking for interns and full-time hires. They sent representatives to talk to our students about the potential opportunities, with a lot of the representatives being alumni of our program.
Prior to the Career Fair, AGC Akron hosted a breakfast to connect one-on-one with students.
Networking with contractors is an important component of the Construction Management program. Coming to the career fair is an easy way to make these connections that lead to future opportunities.
